If you have ever shopped online, you have probably spent hours looking for the best bargain. This process can be time-consuming and, sometimes, overwhelming. However, you can overcome the challenge of looking for the perfect items from varying stores with the help of shopping bots – online tools that search for products, compare prices, and give recommendations to make your online shopping experience much easier and more enjoyable.
With the overwhelming adoption of e-commerce by merchants, it is estimated over two billion people will purchase goods and services online by 2020. Studies show that the number of digital buyers has grown tremendously over the last few years. Shopping bots are part of this progression, as they can save you a lot of time and hassle when you are looking for new items for your wardrobe.
Even the world of shopping bots itself can be overwhelming, as there are several quality bots available to help you with your shopping needs. To help, we have researched and reviewed various bots to come up with, what we believe is, the eight best bots available today.
Shopping Bots FAQ
1. What Is a Shopping Bot?
A shopping bot is a web-based tool that searches various online stores for specific products and determines the supplier with favorable rates and highest quality. Shopping bots come in a variety of forms including websites, apps, browsers, plugins, and more.
2. What Does a Shopping Bot Do?
Shopping bots locate e-commerce sites that offer products at the best prices.
3. How Do Shopping Bots Work?
When you search for a product, bots report back with sources, descriptions, prices, and other details relevant to the product you are looking for. Usually, the bot links you to the e-commerce site offering the product for you to make a direct order.
4. Where Can I Access Shopping Bots?
Most bots come as a downloadable app, website, or plugin. You need to contact the service provider to utilize the facility.
5. Can I Rely on a Shopping Bot for My Shopping Needs?
Whether you can fully rely on bots to help you find everything you are looking for depends on the service you choose. Some bots only make price comparisons and let you select the vendor. Others, however, determine the best sellers and link you to websites where you can purchase the items you are searching for. Service providers are liable for the accuracy and reliability of their bots, so you can trust the products you buy will be the products you wanted.
How We Reviewed

Price Range for Shopping Bots
The price for services depends on your service provider. It may either be a commission that is levied on the value of the purchase or a one-time cost for buying the bot.

Dote Shopping also promises secure payment processing as it partners with a validated Level 1 PCI DSS compliant company that ensures data security. Additionally, it does not charge you if it cannot find the product you want. Instead, it suggests alternatives that could substitute for the requested item.
Your account records a pending or processing transaction status once you place an order. The funds get deducted the moment the retailer ships the merchandise. You can cancel an order before the elapse of 30 minutes. Refunds must be granted through the retailer, but Dote Shopping credits your account within 3-4 weeks.

The app gathers the details about a picture and sends them to your email when you like a post. You can also use the service by taking screenshots. Once you take a screenshot, the app matches it with millions of photos in its gallery. It then sends a notification if it finds a replica. If you place an order for a tagged product, both LIKEtoKNOW.it and the influencer take their cuts.

Going out to eat can be a great family activity. Whether you're celebrating a special day with your kids, stopping for a bite to eat on the way home from soccer practice or just don't feel like cooking, going to a restaurant is a great way to get everyone at the table together for some quality time. But eating out can get expensive. One way to get around this is to look for restaurants where kids eat free.
1. Why Do Restaurants Offer "Kids Eat Free" Deals?
There are about 49,000 children, ages 11 and under, in the United States today. Restaurant owners know that raising kids can be expensive, and the best way to get a lot of those parents to go out to eat is to offer them a deal they can't refuse. Creating a "kids eat free" deal makes it likely that families will return to the restaurant again and again.
2. Can I Bring my Kids to A Restaurant and Let Them Eat for Free, Without Spending Any Money?
Usually, no. Nor can children just show up alone and ask for a free meal. Restaurants generally offer this type of deal with the expectation that the adults will order meals. Most restaurants allow one free kid's' meal per adult meal purchased. Some restaurants will allow two.
3. Why Do Some Locations of Certain Chain Restaurants Offer "Kids Eat Free" Deals, While Other Locations of the Same Chain Restaurants Do Not?
Some restaurants are franchises. This means that the locations are owned by individuals, while the larger company oversees them. Usually, franchise owners have the option of participating in deals.
4. Will I Need to Bring Coupons to Get These Deals?
Not for the restaurants listed here. To get these deals, you just need to show up. Be sure to call ahead to your specific location to find out the details of the deal.
5. What Do Free Kids Meals Usually Include?
It varies from restaurant to restaurant. Some free kids meals include a side order, a drink and even a dessert. Others may just include the main entrée.
6. Is This an Extensive List of Restaurants that Offer "Kids Eat Free" Deals?
No. These are a few of the most popular restaurants that have locations across the country. You may be able to find more deals like this in your area.

At this iconic pancake restaurant, kids eat free every day of the week, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Some locations extend this deal to 9 or 10 pm, and other locations may not participate, so be sure to call your local IHOP ahead of time. At participating locations, families can get one free kid's meal with each adult entrée. This means, if one adult is eating with two kids, you'll have to pay full price for one of the kid's meals. The free deal is for kids 12 and under and does not include drinks. Kids' meals may include the Build Your Own Rooty Jr, Funny Face Pancakes, Cupcake Pancake Combo, Jr. Chicken And Waffles, Jr. Cheeseburger or grilled cheese. Regularly-priced adult meals range from about $5 to $10, not including drinks.
Kids eat free here all day, every day, with an adult meal purchase. The deal is for kids 10 and under and does not include drinks. Some meals include side items, but others include only the main entrée. Items on the kid's menu include grilled chicken salad, BBQ Ribs, pizza, grilled cheese, cheeseburger, mini corn dogs, mac and cheese, bite-sized shrimp, chicken tenders, grilled chicken breast or steak. Regularly-priced adult menu items range from about $7 to about $20, not including drinks or appetizers.
This deal is available only on Tuesdays, at participating locations. Kids eat free from the Lil' Wilbur Menu with each purchase of an adult entrée. The meal, which is for children 8 years old and under, includes a side order, a drink and Oreo cookies. Menu items include Country Roasted Chicken, BBQ chicken, Georgia Chopped Pork Sandwich, mac and cheese, burger, mini corn dogs or ribs. Regularly-priced adult menu items range from about $7 to $27, not including side orders or drinks.
Steak N' Shake
At participating Steak N' Shake locations, kids eat free on Saturdays and Sundays. This deal is a little different from others, because the number of free kids' meals is determined by the amount of money adults spend rather than on the number of meals purchased. For every $9.00 spent by an adult, one Kids' Plate meal is free. The deal is for kids 12 and under and does not include drinks or shakes. Menu items include steakburger, mini corn dogs, chicken fingers, grilled cheese, mac and cheese or hot dog. Steak N' Shake also has collectible cardboard "cruisers" free for kids. Regularly-priced adult menu items range from about $1 to $7, not including side orders or drinks.
KIds eat free here on Tuesdays from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at participating locations. Some locations allow 2 free kids' menu meals per adult entrée of $6 or more, but others may just allow one. Menu items include pancakes. Jr. Grand Slam, French toast, Grilled Chicken On A Stick, spaghetti, cheeseburger, chicken nuggets or mac and cheese. With lunches and dinners, kids can also choose side orders of salad, grapes, corn, apple dunkers, broccoli, mashed potatoes, yogurt, goldfish crackers or banana slices. Regularly-priced adult menu items range from about $2 to $12, not including drinks or side orders.
Kids eat free at least one day of the week, but you'll have to call your local Jason's Deli to find out which day of the week they offer this. Some locations will allow two free kids' meals per adult entrée, while others may allow just one. Every kid's meal includes a choice of drinks: bottled water, apple juice, milk or chocolate milk. (They do not allow soda as part of kids' meals although parents are free to purchase soda separately, if they want their children to have it.) Menu items include mac and cheese, pizza, bowtie pasta with chicken Alfredo or meatballs, baked potato, chicken nuggets, hot dog, ham and cheese sandwich, turkey and cheese sandwich, grilled cheese or hot dog. Some of the items include a pickle on the side, while others include a choice of fruit, carrots or chips.
They also have an interesting "Kids Pick Four" option on their kids' menu. Kids can choose four items from the list: a piece of fruit, a hard boiled egg, cucumbers, organic carrots, grape tomatoes, broccoli, zucchini sticks or sliced cheddar. This comes with hummus or ranch dressing. This is a great choice for picky eaters who are more likely to munch on finger foods than to devour a sandwich. Regularly-priced adult menu items range from between about $5 to about $12, not including side orders or drinks.
Qdoba Mexican Grill
The days that this deal is offered vary by location, but most locations seem to offer free kids' meals on Saturdays and Sundays. One free kid's meal is offered per adult entrée. The meals include burrito bow, quesadilla, 3-cheese nachos or taco. Every kid's meal includes a side order and a fountain drink. Regularly-priced adult menu items range from about $7 to $9, not including drinks or side orders.
Kids eat free at participating locations, but the day of the week that this is offered varies by location. You'll want to call ahead to find out for sure. Where it is offered, families can get one kid's menu entrée for each adult entrée. Menu items include chicken tenders, sliders, pasta or mac and cheese. Meals include a kid-sized side order. Regularly-priced adult menu items range from about $10 to $20, not including appetizers, side orders or drinks.
Some Pizza Hut locations offer a buffet. At participating locations, kids 10 and under can eat free from the buffet on Tuesdays. Be sure to call your specific location to check the details. The regular price of the buffet varies by location but is usually around $5 to $8.
At Golden Corral, kids 3 and under eat free any day of the week. At some locations, any kids ages 10 and under can eat free with the purchase of an adult meal. The price of the regular adult buffet is between $9.50 and $15, depending on the day and time. This does not include the price of drinks. Kids between 4 and 8 years old ordinarily eat for between $6 and $7, not including drinks. Kids between 9 and 12 years old ordinarily eat for between $7 and $8, not including drinks.
It was tricky to make just one recommendation, especially since so many of these offers vary by location. We think that Denny's may be the best bet for families on a budget. The other restaurants' "kids eat free" deals were hard to find information about; Denny's actually mentions it on their website. Denny's general menu is also rather inexpensive. They mention on their website that the adult entrée must be at least $6, but up to two children can eat for free with one adult.
We figured out that: if two adults and four children go to Denny's on a Kids Eat Free day, and each person orders a drink and a meal, they can feed their whole family for about $20. (Kids' drinks are about $1, and adult drinks start at about $2.30.) That is a great deal for the amount of food each meal includes! We also love how, for lunch and dinner, the kids can build complete meals from the wide variety of entrées and healthy side orders. Be aware that the kids' breakfast menu is not quite as healthy as the lunch and dinner menus. Many of the choices include whipped cream and chocolate chips.
For health-conscious parents, Jason's Deli is another great choice. They pride themselves on offering only nutritious food for children and even partner with the Texas Health Institute. They keep dyes, artificial trans fats and flavors, MSG and high fructose corn syrup out of their kids' menu choices. They also have some gluten-free options, which is important for parents who have a child on a gluten-free diet.
In fact, their gluten-free chicken nuggets were listed in an article called "20 Best Kids-Menu Dishes" in the March 2015 issue of Parents Magazine. We like that they don't include fountain drinks as a choice for the kids' menu. We also love their "Kids Pick Four" menu option, where kids can choose four options from a list that includes a boiled egg, cheese slices and lots of fruits and vegetables. They can then choose hummus or ranch dressing to dip it in. It is perfect for picky eaters, gluten-free kids and kids who stick to vegetarian or vegan diets.
If your goal is simply to fill your family up with as much as you can, as quickly as you can, you can't beat Golden Corral. Since they only allow one free kid's meal per paying adult, you'll pay more than at Denny's, unless you have children age 3 or under. But if you have kids up to age 12 who love to eat and can't seem to get full, a buffet may be the way to go. There is definitely something for everyone at Golden Corral, including different kinds of meat, pizza, mashed potatoes and salad. Plus, although you'll have to pay extra for drinks, the price of the buffet does include all the dessert you can eat.
Going out to eat together is a great family activity. So, wherever you go, be sure to enjoy your quality time together!
As women, bras are an absolute necessity for everyday under-the-shirt wearing. Back in the day, each bra had a basic form that was the same, and there were no varieties. Nowadays, there are as many shapes, sizes, materials, and types as there are shirts and pants to wear. But unfortunately, with this increase in variety comes a vast increase in price. Before we knew it, bras were being sold as luxury items when they are a necessity for us. We need cheap bras that will make us feel like we aren't breaking the bank for needed attire.
Because of the vast varieties out there nowadays, the market for bras can be confusing and overwhelming. We understand this, and our experts are here to help you find the best cheap bras out there that still offer long-lasting quality and durability you'll be excited to take home with you. Let's jump right in to look at fifteen oft he best places to find cheap bras that will still support you no matter what.
1. What are Cheap Bras?
Bras that are cheaper in price are often so not because of the material types and amounts, but because of the labor it takes to make any one bra in particular. The bras on our list come from places we have researched and found the cheapest and highest quality bras, and these prices are so cheap because they pair modest materials with minimal labor to bring you affordable options no matter your size.
2. What Dictates Pricing in Bras?
Contrary to what most people believe, the pricing does not have to do with the bra taking less fabric overall because the fabric is not the most expensive part of making a bra. The labor dictates pricing because all bras are handmade by highly skilled sewists. When a brand orders a shipment of bras, they have to pay the sewists, their designers, their pattern graders, their pattern cutters, their packaging and shipping people, and many others.
Many of these costs are part of overhead and they have to be paid regardless of the quality and sales of the season. This is why most lingerie cannot be sold at cost, a lot of people would not get paid if this were the case.
You'll notice that larger manufacturers can afford to sell their products at lower prices because they are taking advantage of economies of scale, otherwise known as buying bulk amounts so each individual item costs significantly less.
3. Important Things to Know about Inexpensive Bra Brands?
Keep in mind that although the quality of a cheaper bra can still be of decent quality, it will not last forever at its cheap price range. Although labor is what counts the most, components will still affect the cost.
Obviously, less expensive components such as plastic fasteners and overly stretchy fabrics are not as durable, and you may find the lace or seams are more irritating and less delicate than you'd like. There may even be flaws such as loose threads or skipped stitches so make sure you pay close attention to what you're buying.
Make sure you memorize that big lingerie sales typically happen twice a year around January and July because that's when stores clear through the old stock to make room for new things. Brick and mortar boutiques most likely won't carry cheaper brands, and popular styles will rarely be on sale. Normally things listed as "fashion colors" or "fashion styles" will have markdowns.
Sometimes a bra is on sale because the fit isn't quite right or because it fits differently from other versions of the bra. Pay close attention and don't be afraid to head to the dressing rooms before deciding.
4. Best Inexpensive Bra Brands and Great Brands to Buy on Sale?

Everyone has to buy groceries. And, unfortunately, groceries often don’t come cheap. The good news is that you can make grocery shopping cheaper, at least if you know a few basic tips.
One of the most basic of these tips is to have a grocery shopping budget and a budget in general. Each month or week or whatever pay period you are working with, you should sit down, look at your money, and plan out what needs to go where.
Decide how much money you have to spend on bills, on activities you have planned, and on necessities, such as groceries.
No matter how much money you have, you can then make a grocery shopping list that contains all of the items you absolutely have to have with that paycheck. By carefully following your basic grocery list and planning to buy only the items you can afford, you can easily learn how to save money on groceries
However, just the idea of budgeting your grocery money and buying wisely isn’t enough to help you save the big bucks. If you want to do that, then you need to know and follow some simple but highly effective tips.
Consider Paying for Your Groceries with a Credit Card
You may have been told that it is not smart to pay for necessities with a credit card. And, while this mostly holds true, that’s not always the case when it comes to groceries.
If you have a credit card that offers big rewards for using it on groceries and other necessities, you will find it smart to use this card when you do your shopping. If you do, it’s practically like getting free money back just for buying things you would have bought anyway.
The key is simply to make sure you pay off your bills quickly so as not to end up paying a lot of interest on simple things like groceries. Of course, you have to also make sure your credit card offers this particular reward option since not all of them do.
If you find out that the card you currently have does not offer this option, then it’s worth it to look into an option that does. You can save that much money.
Compare Prices from One Store to the Next
There are a lot of grocery stores out there, so many that it’s hard to know who has the best deals on what items.
Obviously, you can’t drive to every store around, checking out who has the lowest prices. Well, you could, but that would cost time and gas money, therefore defeating the purpose.
Your best bet, then, is to try out different price comparison apps, such as Flipp or Ibotta, to name just a couple. Apps like these can compare prices on different items across stores in your area, ensuring that you always get the best possible deal.
Sure, this might mean buying one item from one store and another from the next, but it’s so much cheaper that it’s worth the effort.
Take Advantage of Different Rewards Programs
Most of the big name grocery stores have their own rewards programs, which are typically free to join.
Food Lion, for example, has the “MVP” program, while Kroger and Harris Teeter also have their own rewards programs. If you’re like most people, then you shop in more than one place.
As such, it’s wise to take advantage of all of the reward programs at all of the places that you shop. Sure, it might be a bit of a hassle to fill out all of those forms, but being a rewards member can gain you access to savings every time you shop, which can really add up over time
Plus, rewards members often enjoy coupons, free items, and more as a result of their membership, so go ahead and commit to filling out those apps. You will see the rewards in the end.
Never Shop When You’re Hungry
The final tip we share may sound silly, but we swear it’s true. That tip is to never shop when you’re feeling hungry.
Hungry shoppers, research has proven, are a lot more likely to pile items they don’t really need or aren’t even likely to eat into their carts, just because those items look good to their hungry stomachs.
If you shop after a meal, you’re a lot more likely to get only the items you truly need, thereby enabling you to better stick to your budget and to save money. After all, there’s nothing worse than wasted groceries which equal wasted money.
If you can follow these simple tips, you’ll be shocked at just how much money you’ll save on groceries and at how much better you can eat and live.
Aldi’s is an amazing store, and there are plenty of them around. In fact, if you were to do a Google search for “Aldi near me,” you would likely get several results back in return.
Aldi hours vary, though most stores are open until about 8 or 9pm. No matter where your store is or when it is open, however, you should definitely check it out. At the very least, you should search through the Aldi weekly ad that likely comes in your mailbox. The Aldi ad will show you just how great and cheap this store is.
However, there are actually many reasons to shop at Aldi, a few of which will be uncovered here.
Enjoy the Cheapest Possible Produce
Unless you’ve been asleep for the past few years, you probably know that it is very important to eat plenty of fruit and vegetables. These foods fall under a broad category known as “produce.”
Unfortunately, the big excuse many people give for not eating enough fruits and veggies is that, compared to other foods, they are more expensive.
With that said, though, cheap produce can be found in abundance at Aldi. In fact, Aldi’s produce prices can be as much as 60% lower than you’d find at Walmart. So, if you want the cheapest of the cheap produce, Aldi is the place to go.
Eat the Freshest Foods You Can Find
Another great reason to shop at Aldi is because it not only has the cheapest produce, but also the freshest. In fact, all of the store’s items are fresh.
See, one of the ways that Aldi keeps prices as low as it does is by choosing to only stock foods that are bought regularly. That way, items are practically guaranteed to move off of the shelves.
So, if you want food that is very fresh, Aldi is the way to go. With cheap prices and the freshest, most delicious tasting food possible, it is hard to understand why everybody doesn’t shop there already.
Brands You Won’t Find Anywhere Else
Many stores have their own products, often referred to as “private label” brands or “store brands.” Unless you’re some kind of huge label snob, you should enjoy being able to buy these brands exclusively at Aldi.
In fact, compared to other store brands, most people find that Aldi brands taste better and more like the name brand.
In some cases, people have even reported liking the Aldi brand better than the big name brand. So, if you want to have access to great brands at even greater prices, Aldi should be your go-to shopping store.
Healthy, All Natural Meat Products
These days, there is a lot of talk about how unhealthy meat is. Unfortunately, though, buying organic, all natural meat products is out of the budget of most individuals. That is unless, of course, they shop at Aldi.
Aldi proudly offers the “Never Any” brand. This clever brand name subtly points to the fact that Aldi meats packaged under this brand never contain any hormones, animal byproducts, or antibiotics.
So, if you are someone who enjoys eating meat but who wants to indulge this habit in the healthiest possible way, Aldi is for you.
You’ll Never Find Synthetic Colors at Aldi
As people learn more about food production and the dangers of things like artificial dyes, there is a big push toward eating healthier and cleaner.
And, while people often can’t afford the healthier, more natural brands at big chain stores, they can at Aldi. Aldi is affordable and is one of the only stores of its type to have banned synthetic colors from its products.
So, if you have children or other family members who are sensitive to synthetic colors in food, or if you’re just concerned about the effects of food dyes, you can put your mind at ease by shopping Aldi. None of the foods on its shelves will ever contain synthetic dyes, guaranteed.
Aldi Stocks Many Locally Grown Items
In addition to people being more concerned about their health in recent years, there has also been a big push toward buying local products.
Not only are local products healthier for you, but buying them also helps to support smaller businesses and the local economy.
Believe it or not, you can support small businesses by shopping at Aldi. The store stocks many locally grown items, such as produce, milk, and eggs. If you want to know where an item comes from, simply ask the knowledgeable, well-paid Aldi staff for their friendly brand of help and assistance.
As you can see, there is a lot to love about Aldi. So, knowing what you know now, why shop anywhere else?
Everyone shops. And, when you make the decision to shop through Ebates or through Ebates.com, you give yourself the opportunity to earn money. Yes, that’s right. Believe it or not, you can earn money by doing something that you would do anyway- shopping.
This truth applies whether you use Ebates Amazon or whether you use Ebates at any other store or location. No matter where you use it, if you are using Ebates, you can save and even earn money just for shopping. If you doubt whether or not that is true, just check out various Ebates reviews to learn more, and you’ll see the truth.
Ebates works by giving you a cashback on the items that you buy. You can receive this Ebates cashback either by a check or by using Paypal; your payment method is totally up to you.
Ebates is able to make this happen by paying a small commission to the stores where you shop, and this simple activity is what saves you money.
If you still are not convinced that you should use Ebates, then simply take a few moments to consider all of the many benefits that go along with doing so.
Where Can You Use Your Ebates Account?
There are a variety of retailers that allow you to use your Ebates account. As such, once you have an account, you should make every possible effort to shop with these retailers.
Some of the retailers that are known to accept Ebates include:
- Dick’s Sporting Goods
- Rosetta Stone
- The Body Shop
- Adam and Eve
- PC Richard
These are just a few of a great many options where you can make the most of your Ebates account and your Ebates benefits. As such, if you do have an account, use it when you shop at these and other locations. And, if you don’t have an Ebates account but you regularly shop at these or other retailers, consider singing up for an Ebates account so that you can make money when you do choose to shop at these locations.
Be Sure That You Provide a Real Mailing Address
The whole reason to use Ebates is the fact that you get rewards in the form of cashback for doing so.
However, in order to receive your payments, you do need to provide a real and current address.
A lot of people, especially those that opt to receive their payments through Paypal, will fail to provide a real mailing address. However, do not make this mistake
If you do earn enough money via Ebates, which is very likely, especially if you shop often, you will need to have tax forms sent to you. If those forms prove undeliverable because you have provided a non-real address, you could end up losing your Ebates privileges or even in trouble with the IRS.
What’s more is that if Ebates checks on to the fact that you have not provided a real address, you may not be able to get your account during the sign up process.
Thus, don’t make things difficult for yourself. Go ahead and provide all of your real information when you sign up for Ebates. Rest assured that this information will be kept safe and secure and will only be used for truly legitimate purposes.
Try Using the Ebates App for Great Deals
Another recommendation is for you to use the Ebates app.
While you do not necessarily have to download or use the app in order to experience the benefits, it’s certainly worthwhile to do so.
Downloading the app will allow you to instantly see, anytime, what Ebates deals are available at which stores, which can be handy when making those quick shopping decisions.
Plus, the app often suggests different offers and opportunities you may not have been made aware of otherwise. It’s also free to download and use, so as long as you have a phone or a tablet, why wouldn’t you download the Ebates app?
Learn About Coupon Codes When Available
One final reason to use Ebates is the fact that the program is designed to alert you to coupon codes when available.
So, let’s say you’re shopping for that purse you’ve been eyeing for months. If there’s some kind of sale or deal on it, Ebates will let you know and also provide you with the information you need to get the special rate.
When you add that on top of what you already save by using Ebates in the first place, it’s easy to see that this program is definitely worthwhile.
So, with that said, if you like to shop and you do so regularly, Ebates is definitely for you. Get hooked up now.

While there are plenty of dollar stores that only have prepackaged goods, there are also a few with a freezer and refrigerated section.
If you have one of these in your neighborhood, know that you can buy the essentials, such as meats, eggs, cheese, and more at these dollar stores.
So, if you find yourself on a tight budget, but you’re sick of eating ramen noodles, check out the dollar store for potential fresh food finds.

These days, a lot of people are using Groupon and Groupon.com to get great deals on products and services. But, if you’re new to the idea of Groupons, you may be wondering what it’s all about.
To put it in simple terms, Groupon is a service that people can sign up for free. Once they’re signed up, they’ll enjoy a “deal of the day” recommendation. This might be a Groupon coupon for dinner at a restaurant or a discount at a local store. Sometimes, it’s even fun things like a free or reduced price dance class or skydiving sessions.
It’s up to the user which Groupon promo code he takes advantage of and which ones he ignores, but there’s typically something for everyone. In fact, most people really enjoy using Groupon for a variety of reasons.
Try Out New Things on a Regular Basis
One of the major things that people really like about Groupon is the fact that it gives them the opportunity to try out products, places, and services they never would have even given a second thought before.
Maybe you’re not a big sushi fan, for example, but one day, you see an ad for some delicious-looking sushi come across your Groupon. You think it looks good, and the price is right. So, you try it, and, before you know it, you have a new favorite food. That’s just one of the ways that Groupon can introduce new and exciting things into your life.
You might get an inkling to try a cooking class or go ballroom dancing via groupon. You just never know what fun things it might bring into your life to keep things fresh.
Use the App with Ease
Whatever new and awesome thing you wish to try out with Groupon, you’ll be glad to know that it’s incredibly easy to use.
Whenever you come across a Groupon that you want to try, just click “View Voucher,” verify, and submit. From there, you’ll be able to print out the Groupon voucher for your own use.
Be sure that you read the smaller print on your Groupon carefully. This will contain instructions for using your Groupon, as well as any details that you need to know.
Save Yourself Some Major Money
As mentioned earlier, Groupon is absolutely free to use. You don’t have to pay a fee to get a membership or to see the deal of the day each day.
In fact, the only time you pay is when you come across a coupon that you wish to use. You’ll purchase that coupon directly from Groupon itself using your linked card or your Paypal account if you prefer. And, though you do have to pay for your coupon, it will save you major money.
Groupon coupons can typically be redeemed from about double what you paid for them. So, for example, a $10 pizza coupon would likely give you $20 or more worth of pizza!
In this regard, you can save yourself a lot of money and stumble across some truly great deals by choosing to use Groupon.
Support Local Businesses More Often
While many of the restaurants, stores, and more that use Groupon are major, well-known stores, there are also plenty of smaller, locally-owned business establishments that use Groupon.
Many of these smaller establishments might not get noticed if it wasn’t for Groupon, which does act like an advertiser of sorts. In fact, many people who use Groupon report they regularly check out businesses they never would have heard of otherwise thanks to Groupon.
This includes smaller, local businesses, which could definitely use support from the community. If you’re interested in supporting your local economy and “the little man,” then Groupon is an awesome way to find out about local businesses in your area.
You’re Never Obligated to Do Anything
One final thing to appreciate about Groupon is the fact that you are never under any kind of obligation when you use the service.
People often wonder if they have to purchase a certain number of Groupons per week or per month to keep their accounts, and the answer is no. Also, when you don’t care for the deal of the day, you don’t have to opt out or say “no” or anything like that. You simply wait and see if you like the next day’s deal.
In this regard, Groupon truly is a risk-free, hassle-free way to find out about deals that interest you and to save yourself some money, no strings attached.
If you’re curious, then be sure to check out Groupon for yourself. After all, you have nothing to lose and lots to potentially gain.
Everyone loves saving money, and, fortunately, there are many easy ways to do just that.
One of those ways is through the coupons that you’ll regularly find in your local newspaper. There are all kinds of newspaper coupons, like P&G coupons, Smartsource coupons, Brandsaver coupons, and more. Most of these come as Sunday coupons inserts, though you can sometimes find such coupons throughout the week too.
Plus, there are websites that allow you to see a Sunday coupon preview so you can plan out your money-saving week in advance. In addition to planning, though, there are many things you can do to make the most of your coupons and to save even more money than anybody else.
Buy More than One Copy of the Sunday Paper
One easy way to save money is to make sure you get more than one copy of the Sunday paper each week. There are typically so many coupons stuffed inside that it’s worth it to buy a few extras.
In fact, couponing experts often recommend getting four copies minimum of the Sunday paper, especially if you have a large family or are really needing to pinch pennies for a little while.
You can ask your neighbors for their papers when they’re done with them, or just go to the local dollar store or gas station and pick up extra copies cheap. It will be worth it when you start using all those great coupons.
Don’t Be Afraid to “Pipe Up” and Ask for What You Want
Above, we mentioned that it’s not a bad idea to ask your friends and neighbors if you can have their papers when they’re done with them.
This isn’t a bad tip to follow when it comes to anyone however. In fact, tell co-workers and friends what coupons you’re looking for, and see if they’re willing to spare them. Many people are happy to share their coupons, especially those that they don’t use. So many coupons go into the trash each week, and it’s nice to put them to use instead of letting them go to waste.
You may also have friends who would be willing to trade coupons. Maybe there’s some coupons you don’t need or want but that they do. In that case, a trading session might be in order so everybody wins.
Just remember, there is no harm in asking for the things you want, so don’t be afraid to speak up.
Complain When You Don’t Get Your Coupons
Every once in a while, you may have a Sunday paper delivered or you may buy a Sunday paper that is missing the coupon inserts.
This often happens because those inserts are slippery and will slide right out of the paper without anyone noticing. Sometimes, sadly, it is also the case that these coupons get stolen by those who think you won’t notice.
If this ever happens to you, don’t just say “oh well.” Remember that you can and should call the newspaper office and complain. Typically, they’ll bring you over a fresh paper or at least your coupon section. Sometimes, they’ll even bring you extra coupons as a sort of apology.
So, make sure you always stand up for yourself and get what you paid for. You deserve your Sunday coupons each and every week.
Organize Your Coupons Carefully for Easy Use
Once you get into the couponing habit, you will likely find that it can be easy to get overwhelmed with coupons, especially if you’ve got a lot of them coming in on a regular basis.
The key is simply to get and stay organized through a method that works for you.
Some people prefer to buy storage bins and store their inserts there, being careful to note expiration dates for easy use. Others use a more involved method of splitting coupons up into a binder, often by category or brand.
You can be as organized as you like, and you can do your organization any way you like. The key is simply that you are organized and that you have a system that works for you. Your system should keep you from missing out on deals due to expiration dates and should also make it easy to find the coupons you need. Aside from that, though, how you organize is totally up to you.
As you can see, making the most of newspaper coupons is pretty easy, as long as you know what you’re doing and as long as you can follow a few simple tips. Give these tips a try to start saving money today. Just be careful; couponing is addictive.
When you go shopping, you are almost always faced with a decision – the decision of whether to buy the generic brand of a product or the name brand.
Many people view buying generic food as “gross” or “cheap,” and they simply won’t do it, even though it means missing out on big savings.
However, in many cases, there is nothing wrong with going for brandless grocery items or store brand grocery items. The key is simply to understand the difference between generic food and non-generic food and to know when to choose which option. This is something you can get quite good at with a little know-how and a lot of practice.
The Ingredients are Often the Same
To start off with, one of the easiest ways to tell whether you should buy generic food or spring for the name brand is to take a careful look at the ingredients.
Take off brand cereal, for example. The next time you go shopping, pick up the name brand cereal and then the off-brand option. Turn both over until you find the ingredients list.
If the ingredients in both cereals are the same or close to the same, then you know that it’s not worth it to spend the extra money and buy the brand name. In that instance, what you’re paying extra for is not the product itself but its label.
If you can get into this habit of comparing the ingredients list of brandless products to name brand products, you can easily educate yourself on when it’s worth it to buy generic and when it’s better to choose the brand name. You’ll probably find that, more often than not, in the brand name vs generic battle, generic foods win out most of the time.
Consider if Nutrition Standards are in Place
Something else to think about when making the decision between brand name and generic is whether or not any nutrition standards exist regarding the product that you are buying.
Baby formula is a great example to take into consideration. There is a national formula act in place- there has bee since 1980- that states that all infant formulas must meet the same standards of nutrition and quality in order to ensure healthy, thriving children.
In this case, since standards are in place, you can choose any formula you want, name brand or not, and still be guaranteed to get a quality product. And, if you can do that and spend less money, why wouldn’t you?
Unfortunately, nutrition standards do not exist for most foods, but some foods, like meat and produce, do have to meet certain quality standards in order to be sold, so you aren’t taking a risk with your health and wellbeing if you choose to go with the store-packaged option in these cases.
Just research standards that pertain to where you live and then make your purchasing decisions accordingly.
Remember, “Generic” Often Means Local
Something else you should understand is that a lot of times, the generic brand of a product is actually the more local brand of the product.
Consider products such as orange juice or milk, for example. Obviously, the big brand name products are going to come from a factory owned by the manufacturer, which is often very far away.
The generic brands, on the other hand, might come from a local grove or farm and are able to be priced more cheaply due to not having the name brand packaging but also due to not having to be shipped to the store.
With research, you can easily find out which generic brands at your store are actually local brands. Thus, by buying these products, you can not only save money but also support the local economy and end up getting a product that is even better and more fresh than the name brand product.
There is No Harm in Trying
Everyone has different tastes and preferences. With that said, even when ingredients are not similar from one brand to the next, you might find that you don’t mind the taste of a particular generic product or, in some cases, that you may even prefer it.
So, if saving money is important to you and you aren’t hung up on having the “big name” all the time, do a little experimenting. Try out generic products and see what you think. You might just find that you like a generic brand just as well as or better than the name brand.
Either way, you don’t really have anything to lose. You’ll still save money no matter what, and you can always go back to your original preference.
Just remember, as covered here, that the gap between generic and name brand isn’t always as vast as you might think.
